The current national anthem was conceived when the country was not a superpower. Team America's theme song "America, **k Yea" feels modern and culturally relevant. It describes what our values of freedom have accomplished and why we are now a superpower. It is performed in a musical style commonly associated with America, from the era of some of our country's greatest cultural achievements such as Top Gun and Van Halen. It has energy that excites patriotic feelings.
It may need some modification to be accepted by a larger audience.
