Change the voting process to ensure the will of the people is more consistently carried out.

Created by D.C. on January 30, 2014

How many people do you know who vote simply based on their superficial understanding of a candidate or issue with disregard for the consequences of their ignorance?

This is a petition to the voting process. I propose that ballots be replaced by questionnaires. The questionnaire would determine where individuals are aligned with the candidates running for election. This would enhance voter knowledge as, essentially, a requirement for voting. Even more, it would eliminate useless spending by politicians to degrade opponents since voting would be based on actual policy.

It may seem unfair to require people to have a more working knowledge of the candidates involved in an election. However, as it is a civil right to vote, it is a civil obligation to know for whom and for what you are voting.
