Change the voting system to allow electoral votes allocated in a ratio

Change the electoral college and require every state to split the electoral votes into a ratio rather than the "winner take all" method. This will give the individual a acutal say in the direction of America. As a country created by the common man we should allow a person's vote to have an effect. America has evolved from Colonial times and it is time for a change. The electoral college as it is now puts restrictions on an individual's vote and does not represent all of the people. Why should one canidate recive 20 votes when 49% of the state voted against said canidate? As people we have voice and we deserve to have heard.
