As an American citizen our votes need to be heard, we cannot have elected officials making choices for millions of people. A perfect example is Florida, Florida is the 4th populous state in the United States and we didn't even get a chance to make our voices heard. With this change of system everyone's voice could be heard and not just the majorities. We need to go back to when the job of the president is to enforce the laws not make them. The citizens should be able to create laws via populous vote, for both state and federal laws.
