Change the voting system such that it is more representative

This petition argues for the creation of a Two Vote System that allows each voter to have one positive and one negative vote. The positive vote is cast for the most qualified candidate and has a value of +1. The negative vote is cast for the least qualified candidate and has a value of -1. The votes are tallied by taking the sum of positive and negative votes for each candidate. The candidate with the highest net value wins. The Two Vote System allows voters to elect a candidate that is better qualified for office. The major benefits to the Two Vote System are the additional information captured during voting, checks and balances incorporated into the voting process, greater clarity and pressure put onto the political candidates to ensure they capture the highest net value of votes.
