Change Wall st.'s incentive structure

Created by J.G. on October 23, 2011

RIght now there is no incentive for lenders to make sure they get payed back. The people who purchase the debts of other americans are just as unconcerned as the lender. the lenders and the investment firms have found ways to get payed and keep millions of americans in debt by having them default on loans that should have never been made. This leads to an industry that not only hopes people do not repay their loans, they create financial devises to achieve that end. The current situation we are in is a result of this truth. The simple fix is to restore accountability to financial firms, and to make it so they wouldn't make a loan and then get payed when it DOES go bad. End the privatization of capital, while socializing losses
