Change The Washington Redskins Logo To A Red Potato

Created by V.C. on June 03, 2014

Changing the Washington Redskins' logo and mascot to a red potato will avoid the team from having to change its name while removing the racially insensitive nature of the name. The team will still be called the Washington Redskins, but the "Redskins" will refer to the skin of a red potato. Many teams have changed their logos without upsetting their fans or losing revenue. Not only will the team name no longer be insensitive to the one Native American tribe that is offended by it, it will represent the agriculture and farming Native Americans taught to our ancestors who settled here hundreds of years ago.
