Change the way our students are tested

Created by S.P. on May 17, 2015

We believe students take too many standardized tests. We want to establish a national test that will be taken by students at the end of kindergarten, 3rd grade, 6th grade, 9th grade, and 12th grade. It would test math, science, communication arts, and the humanities. Rather than punishing teachers for low scores, we want to reward teachers who receive the top 10% of scores in their state. There will be specialized versions for students with developmental disabilities and we would want a special way of procturing the exam for students with ADHD, ADD, etc. It would be blind to any differentiation between race, socioeconomic status, gender, etc. We want to cut the cost of having every student take multiple tests a year while bringing the Untied States to the top.
