Senators and congressmen should NOT be allowed to determine their own pay. All pay raises should be voted on by the people. Also, there should be a limit to the number of days they take off and they should be docked for each additional day off. Lastly, their pay could be supplemented based on productivity (bills written/supported, etc.). I am sick and tired of our "do nothing" senators and congressmen!
