My case was held up by US Consulates for no valid reason. When we went to our final inteview the consulate sat before me with a file of items we had submitted over the 9 years of our relationship as "proof of our relationship". The file was over 3 inches thick but that still was not enough. The consulates need checks and balances in place. They rule per their emotional state or mood. They are playing with lives, families and relationships. What gives them the right? they violate citizen rights and answer to noone this must change. They should answer to some authority, the should have to give their name and there should be a place to report employees that dont follow rules and a place to commend those that do.
