Change the way veterans are approved or disapproved by the V.A.

Created by M.S. on October 26, 2011

To have the V.A. use the doctors that a veteran is seeing make the evaluation for disability instead of having a separate evaluation board do it. This then could be sent to the V.A. and it would speed up the process as well as save time and money. Most veterans medical conditions are from war, and are best evaluated at the doctors choice, not a review board that has never met the vet or has not been part of his or hers medical needs. Most Vets have P.T.S.D. from Viet Nam to todays war. A doctor sees you to be evaluated and knows nothing about your problems because they are not envolved in your treatment. Most vets that have this problem have a very hard time telling anyone about it. So the doctor doing the evaluation cannot know how much it disables a person.
