Change who supports those in need from government to charities.

Created by K.A. on February 11, 2014

Charity should be just that; charity. Government supported unemployment, welfare, and food stamps ends up stealing a lot of tax payer money to give to those in need - and many times those who are not in need. Instead of the government supporting such programs, they should be run by smaller, local groups such as churches and other non-government food pantries and shelters.

Myself as well as many others I know would be more than happy to support a neighbor in need(and do in various ways), but feel that the government wastes a lot of our hard-earned money where some tough love is needed instead.
