The term 'speeding' as a moving violation is misleading and unfair to the citizens of the United States. For those found guilty of speeding they are labeled as 'speeders,' an unfortunate term and one that bears a stigma that can harm an otherwise good reputation.
We the people of the United States hereby declare that all drivers cited for speeding violations nationwide have the right to be cited fairly and accurately so as to preserve their reputations and to spare these drivers the stigma of the charged term 'speeder.' A more accurate, more fair, and most importantly, less stigmatized way of citing the offense now known as speeding is to cite the driver for 'Driving at Too Awesome a Speed.'
