Change the words of the pledge:
From:
"I pledge ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG... and to the republic FOR WHICH IT STANDS..."
To:
"I pledge TO DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION... and to the republic WHICH IT PROTECTS..."
This change would represent our allegiance to our contract with government rather than our national colors.
