The 14th Amendment currently states "...All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside.” This needs to be amended to reflect the influx of illegal immigrants who give birth to children inside the United States (ie: anchor babies) in an effort to collect government benefits. This needs to be changed to reflect " All persons born TO LEGAL UNITED STATES CITIZENS, are itizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside."
