changes to the benefits and compensation packages for Congress and every Congressional Staff Member

Created by J.A. on November 18, 2013

Changes to the benefits and compensation packages for Congress and every Congressional Staff Member. Pay should be reduced by 35% or more of there pay and benefits should be void when leaving congress.
1. Reduce the number of 3 and 4 star clerks by at least 50%. We have more of these today than we did in 1945 when we had over 9 million people in uniform.
2. Cut the number in the House of Representatives in half. Eliminate all even numbered Congressional district and merge them with their next lower numbered counterpart. That cuts the number of staffers by 50% and the number of committees in half as well.
3. Reduce the White House support staff by 25%.
