The law states for the non custodial parent to provide monthly child support to the custodial parent. It should be mandated that the custodial parent show proof of receipt that the monies are spent on the child the support is being given to. The child support provided should be accounted for in a monthly statement showing where the money is being spent. The non custodial parent is held accountable each month to provide the money to support the child so in turn the custodial parent should be held responsible to provide receipt of the money provided. Non custodial parents have little to no rights in the state of Texas, even more so if you are a father and the non custodial parent. It is time for a change in the State of Texas for the Child Support laws that are currently in place.
