Changing Marijuana Intent to sell charges! It is cruel and unusual punishment.

Created by H.L. on June 16, 2016

Many Americans lives are changed over less than an ounce of marijuana. Although marijuana is illegal, it does have benefits, that can help people who can't afford health insurance. To be told that anything over 20 grams can't be considered for personal use is not true. An ounce of Marijuana can last someone up to 2 months depending on their need for it. It's cheaper to buy in bulk like many things. It's more cost efficient than insurance and meds. Marijuana does less harm to the body than consuming alcohol. An ounce of marijuana should be considered a misdemeanor if not legal. It's unjust to take away one's livelihood by labeling them a felon for something so small. The laws need to be rewritten. Someone can't work in a childcare or healthcare setting because being labeled a felon.
