We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Changing the minimum drinking age from 21 to 18

Created by C.F. on July 05, 2016

In 1984 the drinking age was changed to 21 years old. This petition is to change the drinking age back to the original 18 years old that it once was. The fact that you can be executed at the age of 18, be sent to war and die for your country at 18, but cannot order an alcoholic drink is not right. The drinking age does not stop people who want to drink underage. People under the age of 21 will find other ways of getting it even though it is against the law. Lowering the drinking age would also benefit the safety of the citizens because it would prevent people the age 18-20 from drinking and driving. They would feel less inclined to drive under the influence because of the worry of being caught with alcohol or being caught intoxicated. Please sign this and share the word! Thank you!
