The First Past The Post (also known as the Winner Take All) systen of voting in our country unfairly represents we as the American people. Therefore, we propose a different voting system: The Alternative Vote. So instead of voting for just one person to public office, you would rank your votes, and if the candidate in your number one choice does not win, they are eliminated and your second choice gets your vote. All voices are heard, and the majority is represented. We appeal to the U.S. Congress, The Supreme Court, and to President Barack Obama and President-Elect Donald Trump to move on this before the elections in 2020. We hope you hear us.
