This is a petition for all Americans who believe (and care about) the idea of someone being in office for more than 8 years is wrong. And that is stifles the ability to produce a working government "OF, FOR and BY THE PEOPLE"!
The idea behind this petition is to simply ask that the rules of Term Limits be changed so that there is a constant flow of "fresh blood and fresh ideas" guiding our country "forward" and not backwards, sideways, or into the pockets of the rich and powerful that run and own us (and Washington) today.
Basically, there needs to be the same term limits for all... that being 4 years, with an option to run again for an additional 4. Then, that's it! Go get a real job, and let someone fresh and with new ideas that will follow the trends of "the People" and the times!!
