Charge Brittany Herring and her Accomplices with Federal Hate Crimes

Created by J.J. on January 05, 2017

On January 4th, 2017, Chicago resident Brittany Herring and three accomplices abducted a white man in their city and held him captive as they tortured him through, among other things, cutting his hair and scalp and forcing him to drink from a toilet. The whole time, the abuse was streamed live on Ms. Herring's Facebook account.

During the assault, they further abused him with racially charged language and forced him to shout "f*** Donald Trump" and "f*** white people".

Under federal law, anyone who harms someone because of their real or perceived race commits a hate crime (18 U.S. Code § 249), and the video clearly indicates that racial bias was involved in this crime.

We, the undersigned, request that suspects be charged with federal hate crimes for their barbaric actions.
