We the people demand that Brock Turner is tried for perjury. Even though by double jeopardy the original case cannot be reconsidered, a new case with perjury can be opened. Turner lied on the stand by stating that he never used alcohol or drugs before college, but there is proof he has used as shown in the links below. This false claim, along with his favorable description given in a plea by his parents, influenced the judge to have a more positive perception of Turner than he deserved. We demand that Turner is tried for perjury to make sure that justice is served and rape culture is not promoted by this short sentence.
