On 23DEC12 recording of Meet the Press, David Gregory broke the current DC ban on high capacity magazines when he waved a standard USGI-style 30 round magazine live on the show. Penalty for breaking this rule holds a maximum fine of $1,000 and/or up to a year in prison. Either charge David Gregory with the crime that he blatantly committed or repeal the current law and allow the everyday DC citizen to enjoy the freedom of owning such things.
