After Edward Snowden leaked secret information about the government’s surveillance activities, he was charged with “theft of government Property”, “unauthorized communication of national defense information” and “willful communication of classified communications intelligence information to an unauthorized person.” When Snowden fled the country, Clinton stated that she could never condone what he did, saying that he was a “Traitor” who had “blood on his hands.”
Of the emails sent by Secretary Clinton, 8 chains included top secret information, 36 included secret information, and 8 included confidential information. All of this critical information was exposed without authorization and likely accessed by hostile adversaries. Yet she will not be charged.
When will Snowden be pardoned?
