House Speaker John Boehner, in violation of the Logan Act, has attempted to usurp the President's authority and influence foreign policy decisions. Conspiring with the leader of a foreign country to bypass Presidential authority on foreign policy issues is a violation of law. For his part, Benjamin Netanyahu has exhibited blatant disrespect for the office of the President of the United States and should not be permitted to dictate foreign policy decisions or to speak before U.S. representatives without the consent of the President and the American people. America is a democracy and not the personal domain of a political party. This plot between Boehner and Netanyahu is a slap in the face to our President.
