The in-house investigation into Sandra Bland's death is a travesty akin to the adage, "the fox guarding the hen house". The personal, and professional, connections between those leading it assure that all who are involved are in conflict of interest of finding justice for Ms Bland.
The investigation needs to be independent and free of any influence by Waller County officials.
