The Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses is directly responsible for the deaths of numerous Jehovah's Witnesses by forbidding them to accept blood transfusions, even in life-threatening situations.
They interpret Bible texts about not eating blood to mean no blood transfusions, ironically even texts that say blood=life. They threaten expulsion from the church for followers who disobey, and brainwash them into believing they will be punished by God.
Prior to the mid-1940's, followers accepted blood transfusions when it was not prohibited. This current teaching comes directly from the leaders, not by individual choice. Hence these leaders are responsible for the deaths of their own followers.
They should be arrested and charged with numerous counts of murder.
