This petition is to ensure that the Officers of Greenville County, South Carolina Police Department be charged in the Case of Novi Maldonado's death.
Novi ( 19 years old ) was shot dead in Downtown Greenville, SC by Police Officers claiming that he charged at them with a bat after they tried to break up an altercation him and another man were having.
Novi did not hit the officers with the bat, nor did he have any other weapons.
The officers abused their authority, shooting him without probable reason to shoot.
Clearly another method could of been used in this situation. These are officers who have been trained for many challenges. The 19 year old man did not put the officers in reasonable danger for them to shoot and murder him
