Charge Senate Majority Leader Addison Mitchell McConnell, Jr. et al with sedition if no confirmation hearings are held.

Created by M.S. on March 18, 2016

The US President has a Constitutional duty to nominate replacements for federal courts including the Supreme Court.

[The President] ... "shall nominate, and by & with the Advice & Consent of the Senate, shall appoint...Judges of the supreme Court...."

If Senator McConnell, the current majority leader, & any others, refuse & encourage others to forego their Constitutionally sworn duties, we urge the administration to order the Dept of Justice to charge them with sedition, a criminal act per 18 U.S. Code § 2384 within 90 days of nomination.

"If two or more persons in any...jurisdiction of the US, conspire... to or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the US...they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both."
