charge those citizens of North Carolina who have signed onto petitions to secede from the United States with treason.

Created by J.G. on November 21, 2012

Whereas the North Carolina Constitution states
Sec. 4. Secession prohibited.
This State shall ever remain a member of the American Union; the people thereof are part of the American nation; there is no right on the part of this State to secede; and all attempts, from whatever source or upon whatever pretext, to dissolve this Union or to sever this Nation, shall be resisted with the whole power of the State.
And whereas those citizens of North Carolina who have signed onto petitions to secede from the U.S. have violated the Constitution of North Carolina and placed themselves as enemies of both the Constitutions of North Carolina and the United States,
We respectfully request that those citizens of North Carolina who have signed these petitions be charged with treason against both.
