Bryan Stow was attacked in the Dodgers' stadium parking lot after the Opening Day game on March 31, 2011. The paramedic from Santa Cruz went into a coma as a result of the beating and, after returning to consciousness, is still struggling with a severe brain injury. The men, who plead guilty to attacking him, were sentence fed to just 4 and 8 years in prison. One may be released for "time served." The victim of the unprovoked attack is physically and mentally disabled for life. He requires caregivers to shower, dress and feed him. The damage to Stow's brain was catastrophic. He was likely targeted because of his dress and his race. He has children whose father has been stolen from them. President Obama and AG Holder need to send a message and protect people from such monsters.
