As a student a a state university, I find it appalling that in this civilized nation we have unaccredited "Colleges" and "Universities" crippling people with financial burdens with sometimes two, three times the debt that an institution that is accredited charges.
Time and time again I hear of some of my friends, or others, attending colleges with non transferable degrees or credits, and paying twice the price, it should be ILLEGAL to call your establishment something it apparently isn't. In MOST other countries, take England for instance, it is ILLEGAL to call your school a university or college unless it has been accredited.
These institutions are nothing more than predators and should ALL be subjected to thorough inspection.
