Chewbacca must live

As you must have heard by now, Han Solo was recently killed off in the new Star Wars film, Episode VII "The Force Awakens". I have created this petition to keep Han Solo's brave and furry companion, Chewbacca, alive throughout the rest of the saga. I fear for the well being of our great country if Chewbacca is killed off. It may cause severe riots and distress if we lose our furry companion. He is one of the greatest characters of all time, and I feel that it would be wrong to murder such a great wookie and companion. Just because Han Solo was lost, doesn't mean that we have to lose Chewbacca too. I beg of you, fellow citizens, to aid in this monumental request. Chewbacca must live, otherwise the Star Wars films may as well just end. Thank you.
