Over the course of the 2012 Major League Baseball off-season, many baseball pundits have been speculating about the make-up of the Chicago Cubs starting pitching rotation. However, most, if not all of this speculation, has ignored Travis Wood. Granted, the Cubs have added some stunningly mediocre starting pitchers during the off-season, most notably Scott Feldman and Scott Baker (clearly violating the long standing rule of two Scotts don't make a right). However, lost in these moves is the potential of 25 year old Travis Wood. Just today, December 20th, year of our lord 2012, Buster Olney of ESPN tweeted a potential rotation excluding Travis Wood. This is a Travis-ty! Thus, we petition the Obama administration to highlight the need for more national press coverage of Travis Wood.
