Because of an anonymous phone call made by someone with a grudge, innocent parents who have not abused or neglected children are coerced into signing "service plans". Without benefit of a jury of their peers. No proof of allegations is required (AT ALL). Due to the 'best interest' clause, the children be taken from the family until such time (as determined by a DCFS caseworker) as the parent completes the "service plan". Meaning you have to complete a 6 month drug rehab, even if there is no proof you are a drug addict. Which ultimately leads to each unneeded "service" is an opportunity for parents to fail and lose their children.
80% of parents with rights terminated by DCFS, simply failed to complete part of a service plan.
