The child support system is by far the most unfair, unjust, and unrealistic program our government is in charge of. Children need their mother as well as their father. Children deserve to have a mother and a father. Our child support system all to often create a wedge that wouldn't be there if things were actually fair and it was strictly about the children. My personal scenario which made it crystal clear; my wife and I were divorcing I wanted 50/50 shared parenting. She had an affair I didn't mistreat her I didnt physically or emotionally harm her, she just wasn't happy. I was a great dad up Everytime a diaper needed changed spent all my time with my twins and wife. I didn't want the divorce. Explain to me why with 50/50 shared parenting I still had to pay this woman child support?
