Child Support Laws

1. Never set payments without both parties present
2. 50/50 treatment across the board for women AND MEN
3. Set economic realities for amounts due
4. Make visitation mandatory for mothers to receive checks (not wanting to see the child does not end payments)
5. After the 1st month of unemployment, child support pauses for @ least 6 months before a hearing is set
6. Excessive arrears due to unemployment should be erased if proven
7. Take into account current husbands/wives, children, step-children, and bills when calculating payments
8. Multiple children by multiple fathers should be capped
9. A clear and concise record of how each dollar of support is being spent.
10. Abolish imputed amounts for payment when unemployed
11. Make child support laws federal and uniform for every state
