Child support runs with total immunity. They will take your license, passport, occupational licenses, house, and car making it harder if not impossible for support paying parents to provide what they can for their family. If you, like many other hard working Americans go through hard times lose your job or get hurt and fall back on your payments you will be placed in jail for 30 days and during that time you are still expected to pay. In my child support case all of the judge signed paperwork for my case have been "misplaced" or "lost" by the court AND the child support office. In order to have your payment amount reduced due to change of income they won't get to your paperwork for at least 6 months to see if you are even eligible for a court hearing.
