Child Support Reform

Created by M.R. on April 15, 2015

Child support in the United States needs to be reformed as follows.
1. Prohibit the suspension of drivers license or imprisonment for delinquent parents of child support.
2. Limit all garnishments including child support to a total of 25% of individual's disposable income.
3. Impose Federal punishments to parents who restrict and/or deny visitation to parents who pay child support.
4. Before child support is implemented, there should be proof that visitation is not being restricted or denied unless there is an order from the courts supported by tangible evidence that visitation should be restricted or denied.
5. Order all agencies that collect and enforce child support to also be responsible to implement and enforce visitation for parent responsible for paying child support.
