We the people petition president Obama to reform the current child support laws and introduce new legislation that will allow non-custodial parents paying child support to be able to deduct payments from their income tax . And the parents collecting child child support payments be required to report payments collected to the IRS .
We believe the current laws for child support are biased and unfair to the millions paying it and only supports the persons collecting .
We believe by having the parents receiving child support payments report the money received to the IRS as additional income will also generate money for the government to balance the deficit .
