All children of the United States need the right to a healthy education. This Act would allow every student in america the right to a healthy education. This petition is asking the government to form a new law that would prohibit parents from sending kids to school unhealthy. It would also permit parents to keep their children home from school when sick and terminate any laws, rules or regulations that currently any state or county has that currently limits the number of days a student may be absent.
Congress should form a law that requires schools to have in place a home education plan that would allow children to stay home in order to gain better health before coming to school.
Congress should also include a law that holds parents accountable for sending children to school unhealthy.
