The waiting time for Chinese mainland-born applicants is extremely long, Chinese applicants who applied and already invested the money for EB-5, have to wait for a long time to, first get approved on their I-526 form and then wait for couple years to get their green card VISA to come to the US. There are lots of Chinese families are waiting for their green card visa quotas, meanwhile lots of families’ children are facing over age limit 21 while they are waiting. There is such a long wait time for Chinese EB-5 investors, but not EB-5 investors from other countries. EB-5 program can increase the employment and help America for the economic growth and since the majority of the EB-5 investors are from China, it is pointless and unfair if the problem is not solved.
