Civil asset forfeiture is a legal means for our government to steal directly from a US citizen. Assets can be seized without any actual proof that the funds or the property has been used in a criminal manner. The law is so vague it allows the police to seize assets based only upon suspicion. This is ridiculous and actions to repeal or amend this law need to be taken immediately.
