Clarify the the 2nd amendment: Does the right to bear ARMS (it doesn't say guns) include missiles, bombs, and RPGs?

Created by G.F. on December 14, 2012

Many gun rights advocates quote the second amendment as giving them an indisputable constitutional right to own any guns, as many as they please. But the 2nd amendment speaks about the right to bear ARMS, not just guns. Thus, if we take this as literally as these gun advocates do, could we conclude that the amendment also constitutionally protects the right to bear missiles, RPGs, hand grenades, anti-personnel mines, and other items included in the definition of ARMS? If not, why not? Where does this lunacy end? The right-wing faction of supreme court was simply wrong when it ruled on the meaning of the second amendment. Put this to a national referendum on the next electoral ballot.
