The "Employment Certification for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) form requires that employers certify that applicants work AT LEAST 30 hours per week.
Section 2-B of the form requires that employers certify the applicant's hours in either the "Full Time" or "Part Time" sections.
The PSLF form defines full time as: "An annual average of AT LEAST 30 hours per week"
Some employers do not consider 30 hours to Full Time, so they are incorrectly marking the 30 hours as Part Time.
This will cause eligible applicants to be marked ineligible.
Please clarify Section 2-B to simply ask employers to certify how many hours the employee has worked, and remove the Part Time/Full Time box.
