Clarify how Obamacare is not a violation of the 10th Amendment - as it limits Federal powers and protects state rights.

Created by G.J. on January 17, 2013

I, as a concerned citizen, have read the United States Constitution and question the legality of the healthcare reform commonly referred to as "Obamacare" in relation to the 10th Amendment.

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

With no powers delegated to the Federal Government to mandate healthcare on the citizens of the United States (and not falling under the commerce clause), I would like an official explanation to the people of the United States on how this is considered legal under the Constitution of the United States of America.
