We are a nation that has declared war on terrorism and looked outward without first examining ourselves. This is why we propose a petition stating that organized hate groups be designated and treated as domestic terrorists. Hate Groups have been recognized by the FBI, but there have been no attempts to punish or dismantle them. Groups whose practices contradict the very principles of equality that our nation was founded on should be a serious matter to deal with in this time of social injustice.
