classify the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement as a treaty and send it to the Senate

Created by P.S. on July 07, 2012

The Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement is an agreement between many countries to establish international standards for intellectual property rights enforcement (e.g. trademarks). It is currently classified as an "executive agreement", requiring no Senate approval. We call on the Administration to classify it as a treaty and sent it to the Senate for approval.
