Hello, my name is Tyler. I'm from a small town in Texas. I'm 17. I know that when I turn 18, I must sign up for the Draft. The only problem here is that I'm not comfortable with signing something I don't agree with. I know that "Freedom isn't free" and that people die every day defending our rights, but why force people to do something they don't want to do? Slavery is defined as "being forced to work against one's will." Slavery was abolished on December 6th, 1865. Being forced to sign for the Draft should be classified as slavery and abolished just like slavery one hundred and fifty years ago! I know I sound like an "unpatriotic american," but I don't want to die for something I don't believe in. I don't want to be pushed into a war.
